Since Far Cry 6 is on the way, now is the perfect time to look back on Ubisoft’s beloved series. More specifically, to rank the entire franchise. This is no mean feat considering how there are
Far Cry 6 does a good job of making each one feel distinct and memorable. Gaining these allegiances is appropriately difficult, but knowing a little bit about each one can help Dani understand
For all its bluster about telling gripping narratives, Far Cry is often very, very, very stupid – but in a good way. Blood Dragon is the height of Far Cry's zaniness. More a neon assemblage of '80s movie references than a story, Blood Dragon throws Terminator , RoboCop , Tron , and Predator in a blender to create something utterly ridiculous
Now, far cry 6, chef's kiss the stealth and combat are fantastic, the story is good for what it needs to do: funnel you to the action, and the world is interesting to explore with lots of good side quests and distractions. The ammo type system is annoying af tho since certain ammo is more efficient against certain things, but it didn't too

I thought pc tech you tubers complained about far cry 6 fsr implementation. Hardware unboxed/digital Foundry Having seen FSR in RE Village and then Deathloop, I wasn't really impressed with the tech as compared to DLSS but in Far Cry 6, I noticed for the first time that image quality is much improved over native when in Ultra Quality at 4k.
One of the biggest improvements from Far Cry 5 to 6 in my opinion is that you really do get to engage enemies on your own terms. Far Cry 5 was constantly throwing combat at you. You couldn't drive around for 30 seconds without running into cultists in trucks and getting shot at. It was frustrating and terribly unrealistic.
It's Far Cry, but probably more bland and unfun than it's really ever been. It's overly goofy, the story is generic and feels very forced, the open world is tedious more than anything, the addition of ammo types becomes a chore to handle, enemy types are inconsequential, etc., etc., etc.
